You do not need a referral to make an appointment with Eat for Life Dietetics. We do accept Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) referrals, Medicare Eating Disorder Plan referrals and DVA (D904) referrals.

Eat for Life Dietetics also offers online, Telehealth appointments. Telehealth appointments can be booked online via our client portal. Simply select online appointment when prompted to select a location for your appointment. Extended Initial Appointment – 75 minutes
Fee: $229
Recommended for most new clients.
This longer session is strongly recommended for:

• Anyone experiencing an eating disorder or disordered eating

• People with weight or body image concerns, especially with a history of dieting

• Neurodivergent individuals (e.g. ADHD, autism)

• People managing multiple or complex health concerns such as PCOS, endometriosis, IBS, IBD

• Clients living with mental health conditions

• Paediatric clients

• Anyone wanting more time to feel comfortable and supported

This appointment allows us to explore your story with the time and care it deserves.

🌼 Standard Initial Appointment – 60 minutes
Fee: $179
Best suited for clients with no history of dieting or weight/body image concerns.
This appointment is appropriate if you are seeking support for single, straightforward health concerns such as:

• High cholesterol

• Diabetes

• Osteoporosis

• Constipation, diarrhoea, or diverticular disease

  Please note: If you have a history of dieting, disordered eating, or body image concerns, we kindly ask that you book the Extended Initial Appointment to allow for more comprehensive support.

🌱 Review Appointment – 45 minutes
Fee: $129
A follow-up session for clients who have already attended an initial appointment. These appointments support your ongoing progress and care.

Once an appointment is made with us we have reserved that time in our calendar just for you. Short notice cancellations and appointment changes impact both our practitioners and our patients. We require a minimum of 24 business hours notice for any appointment cancellation or changes. If you cancel or change an appointment with less than 24 business hours notice, Eat for Life Dietetics reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee up to 50% of your appointment fee. If you fail to attend an appointment, Eat for Life Dietetics reserves the right to charge a no-show fee up to 70% of your appointment fee. (To avoid cancellation fees to appointments scheduled on a Monday please cancel or make changes by close of business on the previous Friday)

Eat for Life Dietetics acknowledges that there are exceptional circumstances where short notice cancellations are unavoidable and may choose to waive these fees when a short notice cancellation is made due to exceptional circumstances and the appointment is rebooked at the time of cancellation and attended within 2 weeks.

Please note that if you are an NDIS participant and have a current Eat for Life Dietetics Service Agreement, please refer to your service agreement for your cancellation policy. Eat for Life Dietetics follows the NDIS Price Guide and Supports Catalogue, and the cancellation policy will be in line with these documents.

Telehealth is online health services. We use Power Diary to be able to video chat with you, just like a normal consultation. All you need is access to the internet and a device with a working microphone and camera. Don’t have access to this? That is ok, we also offer phone appointments.

Our tele-health portal allows us to share resources with you during our tele-health session. However, if you are unable to use this service we can also email, text or even post resources to you so that you don’t miss out on anything!

Yes, you are able to claim your Medicare rebates with an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC)  or Eating Disorder  Plan (EDP) referral. Private health rebates may be available. Check with your health insurance provider if you are unsure.

You can pay online using our secure online payment system, Stripe before or during your appointment. Alternatively we can email you a copy of your invoice for you to pay via direct debit.
