If you still have some more questions, check out the answers to some frequently asked questions below.
How to I access resources from my Telehealth appointment?
Our Telehealth system allows us to share our screen with you so that we can show you resources, recipes, products and information easily during your appointment. After your Telehealth appointment has ended your Dietitian will email you any resources, links or information that you may need after your appointment. It can be difficult to see the shared screen clearly on small devices such as smart phones. Using a larger screen such as a computer or tablet will ensure that you won’t miss anything.
How do I pay for my Telehealth appointment?
Eat for Life Dietetics will send you an invoice along with your appointment reminder a few days prior to your appointment. You can pay online using our secure payment system stripe or via direct debit prior to your appointment. Alternatively payment details can be taken at the time of your appointment and processed by your Dietitian. Paying in advance can help to save some time during your appointment so that your Dietitian can spend more time focusing on you.
Can I access rebates for Telehealth appointments?
Medicare rebates may be available for some Telehealth appointments, you will need to check with Eat for Life Dietetics to see if you are eligible. You may also be eligible for private health insurance rebates, however you will need to check with your insurer to find out if they cover Telehealth appointments.
